2014 has been a wonderful and exciting year. C&EN, its journalists, and the C&EN Media Group have been up for a variety of awards and recognitions, a new editor-in-chief is now officially at the helm, and many initiatives have not only gotten off the ground, but have found an engaged and excited audience for them. These developments and more have made C&EN’s fully integrated advertising platform the fastest and most effective way to get your message to the largest group of scientists in the world – more than 161,000 members of the American Chemical Society. Among our loyal and ever-expanding readership, 68% of our subscribers read C&EN significantly more than any other industry publication, calling it a ‘first-read’, giving you access to influential corporate, academic, and R&D decision makers and buyers you won’t reach anywhere else.
In print, advertisers can now reach an engaged audience with C&EN Supplements, which ride along with key print issues readers love. In digital, C&EN hosted its very first virtual symposium, Advances in Drug Discovery and Development, delivering key leads to sponsors and exhibitors in an exciting online conference format. The 2015 media kits discuss these opportunities and more, and are now available to download in the Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences, Instrumentation, and Industrial and Specialty Chemicals markets.

What’s New in 2015:
- Next year, C&EN is slated to cover a host of interesting and timely topics, including the latest drug approvals, an instrumentation market review, developments in the BRICS countries, and much more. Find the C&EN issue that will complement your marketing message by downloading the 2015 Editorial Calendar.
- Six additional C&EN Supplements are also on the calendar for next year, to cover topics including chromatography, spectroscopy, pharmaceuticals in the pipeline, and trends in “omics” technologies. Take a look at this past year’s Supplements here.
- More virtual symposia. Due to the success of C&EN’s inaugural virtual event this past September, C&EN will host additional online conferences in 2015. The September event drew over 7,000 registrants, who spent an average of 2.5 hours logged in to the event. Exhibitors and sponsors also received an average of 879 leads.
- A new look: the C&EN magazine and cen.acs.org will get a redesign! Stay tuned for more details.
