Flare™ by Cresset is a cheminformatics tool that allows scientists to use Free Energy Perturbation (FEP) to easily and accurately calculate the relative binding free energy of a congeneric series of ligands and increase efficiency in the lab.
Cresset’s business challenge was 2-fold:
- Provide context and nuance to how the Flare FEP drug discovery software differs from their competitors
- Showcase how scientists experience the product, highlight the ability to take full advantage of free energy calculations, regardless of technical background

BrandLab created a white paper that explored how Cresset’s software allows researchers without experience in cheminformatics to take advantage of free energy calculations.This easy-to-understand resource used descriptions, images, and testimonials to clarify Flare FEP’s value.
The BrandLab team developed a custom, integrated marketing campaign across digital and social channels. The team of marketers then continually optimized for engagement and lead generation after it launched on C&EN via cen.acs.org and pubs.acs.org in December of 2023.
