Ishmael-Perkins comes to C&EN from the International Science Council where he has served as a senior consultant since 2021. Previously, he worked as director of SciDev.Net, where he spearheaded the platform’s digital growth with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Through his work, he has developed a stellar reputation for expertly protecting editorial independence and audience trust while facing business and organizational changes. With a global perspective and extensive experience in organizational development, Ishmael-Perkins is well-suited to guide C&EN’s team through global growth and success in the century ahead.
