Through its annual talent competition, 10 Start-ups To Watch (TSTW), C&EN highlights impressive groups of chemists; in 2022, that included those who are harnessing tRNA to overcome genetically driven diseases, drugging enyzme exosites to treat diseases, using micropeptides as a biological herbicide for row crops, and enabling rhw switch to lithium-metal batteries.
