Dillon currently serves as president and chief executive officer of HDMZ, an integrated scientific marketing communications agency exclusively serving the life sciences industry — including biotech, biopharma and medical device companies, and contract research and contract manufacturing organizations. He joined HDMZ in 2005 as an account executive, later becoming senior vice president and a member of the executive team. During his time on the executive team, HDMZ experienced unprecedented growth, doubling in size from 2014 to 2021 thanks to consistent wins in new business, an expansion of agency services, and client retention that exceeded industry benchmarks. Throughout this period of growth, Dillon helped spearhead the agency’s efforts to shape corporate brand and communications strategies; launch new products and services; and develop multi-channel marcom campaigns for market leaders in clinical development, biopharma and biotech.
Peter Jap, Senior Brand Manager at ACS
Peter has extensive brand and marketing experiences in both Fortune 100’s and non-profits. From Ford Motor Company, Abbott, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, to CAS, and his current role in leading the brand at ACS. He is a curious mind, who is always seeking to understand “why”. He is a 2nd generation immigrant, an avid foodie, and a fitness junkie. You’ll often find him cheering for “THE” Ohio State Buckeyes, smoking meat or shuttling his three sons to their never-ending sports and activities.

Kate is the founder and principal of Horseshoe Communications. She brings over 20 years of strategic healthcare communications counsel, having previously worked in-house for large, publicly traded companies and as an agency partner. She brings deep experience in media strategy and relationship management.
She drives national and international media coverage, has led policy communications efforts and manages all levels of corporate communications issues reaching diverse stakeholder groups. She has significant experience working on issues related to government inquiries, lawsuits, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and more.

He is an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh, from which he obtained his B.S. in Ecology and Evolution, and holds a Ph.D. in biology from the University of Memphis.
